These oblong punch and die sets are designed for MetalPro ironworkers and include one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size is determined by the upper punch, with all sets featuring a standard 2" lower die and a 1/32" clearance between the punch and die. The punch hole size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness for optimal results. The sets are rated for use in mild steel. It is recommended to select a punch and die set that is 1/32" larger than the bolt size, for example, a 5/16" bolt would require an 11/32" oblong punch and die set.
