These oblong punch and die sets are designed for MetalPro ironworkers and include one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size is determined by the upper punch, with all sets featuring a standard 2" lower die and a 1/32" clearance between the punch and die. For optimal results, the hole punch size must be equal to or greater than the material thickness, and it is recommended to use a punch and die set that is 1/32" larger than the bolt size, for example, an 11/32" set for a 5/16" bolt. These sets are rated for use in mild steel, ensuring compatibility and durability for metalworking applications.
