These oblong punch and die sets are designed for MetalPro ironworkers and include one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size corresponds to the upper punch, and all sets feature a standard 2" lower die with a 1/32" clearance between the punch and die. For optimal performance, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness, and it is rated for use in mild steel. It is recommended to select a punch and die set 1/32" larger than the bolt size being used, for example, a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" oblong punch and die set.
