These oblong punch and die sets are designed for MetalPro ironworkers and include one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size is determined by the upper punch, with each set featuring a standard 2" lower die and a 1/32" clearance between the punch and the die. For optimal performance, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness. The sets are rated for use in mild steel. It is recommended that the punch and die set used be 1/32" larger than the bolt size, for example, a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" oblong punch and die set.
