These oblong punch and die sets are designed for MetalPro ironworkers and include one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size is determined by the upper punch, and all sets feature a standard 2" lower die with a 1/32" clearance between the punch and die. For optimal results, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness, and the recommended punch and die set size is 1/32" larger than the bolt size (e.g., a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" oblong punch and die set). These sets are rated for use in mild steel.
