The MP8016 is a 3/4" round punch and die set designed specifically for Metalpro ironworkers. This set includes one upper punch and one lower die, with the hole size determined by the upper punch. It features a standard 2" lower die and a 1/32" clearance between the punch and the die. For optimal performance, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness being punched. It is also recommended that the punch and die set used be 1/32" larger than the bolt size, for example, a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" round punch and die set. This set is rated for use in mild steel.
