The MP8006 7/16" round punch and die set is designed for MetalPro ironworkers and includes one upper punch and one lower die. The hole size corresponds to the upper punch, with the set featuring a standard 2" lower die and a 1/32" clearance between the punch and the die. For optimal results, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness. It is recommended that the punch and die set used is 1/32" larger than the bolt size, for example, a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" round punch and die set. This set is rated for use in mild steel.
