3M™ Venture Tape™ aluminum foil tape 1520CW is a conformable, 3.2 mil tape with a nominal 1.8 mil aluminum foil backing coated with cold-weather acrylic adhesive, designed for masking and sealing in general-purpose heat shielding and light-reflecting applications. This pressure-sensitive tape bonds and seals at temperatures as low as -10 °F (-23 °C) and performs well in a wide range of environmental conditions, including low and high temperatures. The foil backing allows the tape to easily conform to irregular surfaces and is suitable for use on both fibrous and sheet metal ductwork. It is hand tearable, adheres quickly without the need for special tools or application methods, and maintains its form without lifting or curling over time. The tape is UL723 classified with a 10/10 flame/smoke rating and also meets the CAN/ULC S102 classification flame/smoke rating, ensuring compliance with safety standards. This flexible foil tape is ideal for various masking and sealing operations, offering durable performance across different environments.
