3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil/Glass Cloth Tape 363 is a versatile tape combining high tensile strength with outstanding puncture and tear resistance. It features a heat-reflective aluminum foil backing supported by a robust glass cloth to create a strong, conformable structure. The tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive that adheres well to irregular and uneven surfaces while allowing clean removal after use. It resists flame, moisture, weather, and UV degradation, offering exceptional thermal conductivity and consistent performance in temperatures ranging from -65 °F (-54 °C) to 600 °F (316 °C). The tape’s lightweight, flexible construction enables maximum conformability to curved and irregular surfaces. Its high tensile strength, heat resistance, and reflectivity make it suitable for aerospace, automotive, and general industrial applications including heat reflective wrap over insulation cables, instruments, and other high-temperature sensitive materials, temporary surface protection during welding and soldering, and use in environments exposed to movement and vibration.
