EXAIR's® chip shields are made of durable polycarbonate and protect operators from flying debris commonly encountered when blowing chips off machined parts. They also help minimize coolant or liquid splashes during drying operations and assist in meeting OSHA 1910.242(b) requirements for the safe use of compressed air. These chip shields are compatible with safety air guns, whether equipped with or without aluminum extensions, but are not designed for use with guns that utilize a stay set hose.
