EXAIR's® chip shields are made of durable polycarbonate and protect operators from flying debris commonly associated with blowing chips off machined parts. They also help minimize coolant or liquids from splashing during drying operations. These chip shields assist in meeting OSHA 1910.242(b) requirements for the safe use of compressed air. They are compatible with safety air guns, both with and without aluminum extensions, but are not designed for use with guns that utilize a Stay Set hose.
