The Lyon® ADA locker room bench is designed for school and gym locker rooms and complies with the accessibility ADA bench requirements of sections 222 and 803 of the 2010 ADA standards. This 4-foot-long wood bench features a hardwood bench top and back rest, both finished with two coats of clear acrylic that provide a glossy look and protect against scratches. The bench top and back rest are connected by two extruded aluminum brackets that are powder coated to match the pedestals. The bench includes four steel pedestals with 18" high wooden backs, constructed from 14-gauge steel with 1-5/8-inch tubing uprights, and finished with a dove gray powder coat paint that matches standard locker colors. The pedestals provide extra strength and durability, supporting a weight capacity of 150 lbs per linear foot. The top and pedestals ship separately and require simple field assembly using included hardware; anchor bolts for installation are also provided.
