Lyon®'s standard steel single tier locker is manufactured in the USA and features a 16-gauge, one-piece steel door and 24-gauge steel body parts. The door frame corners are lapped and welded for strength and rigidity, and the 6-inch-wide door louvers provide ventilation for the interior. The locker stands on 6-inch-high legs, providing additional toe room below the door. It incorporates Nano-Roller Technology with a recessed steel handle that sits flush with the door, reducing snags and including a hasp inside the recessed handle cup for use with a user-provided padlock. The locker employs Lyon®'s patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system, featuring a lockbar that secures both the top and bottom of the door frame for enhanced security, guided by a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide to ensure smooth, quiet operation. This locker can be ordered either unassembled or assembled; unassembled units come with the door and frame as one piece, ready to attach to the sides and back using nuts and bolts, while assembled units are professionally put together with pop rivets for a strong, durable assembly. Lyon® recommends anchoring the lockers to the wall or floor during installation for safety and stability. The locker comes with standard features designed for longevity and secure use throughout schools, locker rooms, and other facilities.
