Lyon® standard steel single tier lockers are manufactured in the USA and constructed with 16-gauge one-piece doors and 24-gauge body parts, featuring lap and welded door frame corners for a strong and rigid assembly. Each locker includes 6-inch-wide door louvers for ventilation and 6-inch-high legs to provide additional toe room beneath the door. The recessed steel handle sits flush with the door to prevent snagging and contains a lift handle with an internal hasp compatible with user-provided padlocks. These lockers utilize Lyon®'s patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system with a unique lockbar that secures both the top and bottom of the door frame, enhanced by a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide for smooth, quiet operation. Lockers can be ordered either unassembled—with the door and frame shipped as one piece for straightforward field assembly with nuts and bolts—or fully assembled by Lyon® using durable pop rivets. Proper anchoring of lockers to the wall or floor during installation is strongly recommended.
