Lyon® manufactures a traditional double tier metal locker made in the USA, featuring six doors that can be used individually or combined to create a full locker system. The locker is constructed with 16-gauge, one-piece steel doors and 24-gauge body parts, with door frame corners lap welded for strength and rigidity. Each door has 6-inch-wide louvers for ventilation, and the locker is supported by 6-inch-high legs for additional toe room. Inside each of the six openings, there is one double prong hook and three single prong hooks for hanging coats or bags. The locker includes recessed steel handles that sit flush with the door to prevent snagging, and each handle incorporates a hasp for securing with a user-supplied padlock. Lyon®'s patent-pending nano-roller metal latching system engages the door lockbar at both the top and bottom of the frame for enhanced security, with a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide that reduces noise and ensures smooth operation. The lockers can be ordered either unassembled or pre-assembled; unassembled kits include doors and frames shipped together, with nuts and bolts for field assembly while pre-assembled lockers are professionally assembled using pop rivets for a strong, durable construction. Proper anchoring of the lockers is recommended for safety. The locker dimensions and detailed specifications are available upon request.
