Lyon® manufactures a traditional double tier metal locker made in the USA, featuring six doors with 16-gauge, one-piece steel doors and 24-gauge steel body parts. The locker utilizes Lyon®'s lap and welded door frame corners for a strong, rigid assembly. Each door has 6-inch-wide louvers for ventilation and the locker includes 6-inch-high legs for additional toe room beneath the doors. Inside each locker compartment, there is one double prong hook and three single prong hooks for hanging coats or bags. The recessed steel handle is flush with the door to reduce snagging and includes a hasp for a user-provided padlock. This two-tier locker incorporates Lyon®'s patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system, with a lockbar that engages both the top and bottom of the frame for enhanced break-in protection, and a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide that ensures smooth, quiet operation. The locker can be ordered assembled or unassembled; the unassembled version ships with the frame and doors as one piece, ready to attach to the sides and back using nuts and bolts, while the assembled option is professionally put together using pop rivets for durability. Proper anchoring at installation is recommended.
