Lyon® is a leading manufacturer of quality steel school lockers, producing a traditional double tier metal locker found in schools and locker rooms across the USA. This 6-door locker can be used individually or combined with others to create a full locker system and is proudly manufactured in the USA. The locker features 16-gauge, one-piece doors and 24-gauge body parts, with door frame corners lap welded for a strong and rigid assembly. It includes 6-inch-wide door louvers for ventilation and 6-inch-high legs providing additional toe room below the locker door. Each locker opening contains one double prong hook and three single prong hooks for hanging coats or bags. The recessed steel handle is flush with the door and is designed to avoid snagging clothing; it includes a hasp inside the recessed cup for a user-provided padlock. These steel single tier lockers utilize Lyon®'s patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system with a lockbar engaging both the top and bottom of the frame for enhanced security against break-ins, supported by a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide that ensures smooth, quiet operation. The lockers can be ordered either unassembled, for field assembly with nuts and bolts, or assembled by Lyon® using pop rivets for a robust and durable construction. The door and frame ship as one piece ready to attach to the sides and back. Proper anchoring of the lockers is recommended.
