VersaMat® Mat-Paks are an economical package that includes 12 mats measuring either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8', 20 single Turn-A-Links, 2 Handi-Hooks, a metal storage skid rack, and 2 ratchet straps. The mats can be quickly deployed from a truck bed to create nearly a 50-foot roadway or a working platform for vehicles and personnel. VersaMat® mats are designed as multi-functional ground protection mats with a low-profile slip-resistant traction surface, making them ideal for pedestrian use. The standard mat features an aggressive AlturnaMat® tread on one side but is also available with a smooth surface option. Each mat has a high load-bearing capacity of 120 tons*, making it suitable for vehicle trackways, parking areas, or staging areas for supplies and equipment. Weighing 86 lbs (39 kg) at maximum size, the mats are lightweight and easy to handle manually. Manufactured from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene, VersaMat® mats are durable, weather-resistant, and flexible to conform to sloping or undulating ground. The mats connect using flat Turn-A-Link connectors, providing a secure trackway, with load capacity dependent on ground conditions. Sizing has a manufacturing variance of +/- 5%.
