Versamat® mat-paks are a package that includes 12 mats measuring either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8', 20 single Turn-A-Links connectors, 2 Handi-Hooks, 1 metal storage rack, and 2 ratchet straps. These mats can be loaded onto a truck bed to create nearly a 50-foot roadway or a working platform for vehicles and personnel. Designed as a multi-functional ground protection mat, Versamat® combines a walking or standing surface with a heavy load capacity suitable for construction equipment. It features a low-profile slip-resistant traction surface, making it ideal for pedestrian use, and the standard version has an aggressive AlturnaMat® tread on one side, with an option for a smooth surface for versatility. With a high load-bearing capacity of 120 tons*, Versamat® can be used as a vehicle trackway, parking area, or staging area for supplies and equipment. Weighing 86 lbs (39 kg) at maximum size, it can be easily deployed by hand. Made from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene, Versamat® is durable, weather-resistant, and has a flexible construction that follows ground contours for effective access on sloping or uneven terrain. Mats connect securely with flat Turn-A-Links connectors. Clear mats are available that allow UV light to penetrate, helping grass photosynthesis while keeping mats cooler in hot climates to prevent damage to the grass below.
