Alturnamat® Mat-Paks are an economical package that includes 12 mats in either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8' sizes, along with 20 single Turn-A-Links, 2 Handi-Hooks, a metal storage-skid rack, and 2 ratchet straps. Each mat is made from 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with an aggressive diamond plate tread design, providing a high load capacity suitable for construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and events industries. These mats can withstand loads up to 120 tons and are flexible enough to conform to undulating or sloping ground conditions while offering a secure walking or working surface. The maximum weight for the largest mats is 86 lbs (39 kg), and the smallest mats weigh 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg), allowing easy deployment and maneuverability without special equipment; strategically positioned hand holes are available as an option. The mats connect using Turn-A-Links connectors to form a secure, nearly 50-foot roadway or working platform. Dimensions include a manufacturing variance of ±5%, and load bearing capacity depends on ground conditions. The Mat-Pak system is designed for easy transport and storage, made from 100% recycled HDPE, and backed by warranty terms that apply to the product's durability and construction.
