Alturnamat® mat-paks are an economical package containing 12 mats available in either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8' sizes, accompanied by 20 single Turn-A-Links, 2 Handi-Hooks, 1 metal storage rack, and 2 ratchet straps. Designed for creating nearly 50-foot roadways or work platforms for vehicles and personnel, these mats provide a multi-functional ground protection solution with a heavy load capacity suitable for construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and events industries. Constructed from 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the mats feature an aggressive diamond plate tread design that offers durability and flexibility to contour uneven or sloping ground. Each mat can withstand loads up to 120 tons and weighs 86 lbs (39 kg) at the largest size and 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg) at the smallest, enabling easy deployment and maneuvering without special equipment, aided by strategically positioned hand holes. The mats connect securely with Turn-A-Links connectors to form stable trackways or work pads, though load-bearing capacity depends on ground conditions. Dimensions are subject to a manufacturing variance of ±5%. The product includes a warranty covering terms as specified by the manufacturer.
