Alturnamat® Mat-Paks are an economical and convenient package that includes 12 mats available in either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8' sizes, 20 single Turn-A-Links connectors, 2 Handi-Hooks, 1 metal storage skid rack, and 2 ratchet straps. These mats are constructed from 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that is 100% recycled, providing a virtually indestructible surface with an aggressive diamond plate tread design on both sides. Each mat weighs 86 lbs (39 kg) at its maximum size and 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg) at its smallest, allowing for easy deployment without special equipment, aided by strategically placed hand holes. Alturnamat® mats are designed to support heavy loads up to 120 tons, with a flexible construction that conforms to undulating or sloping terrain, making them ideal for ground protection over soft or sensitive surfaces in construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and events industries. The mats can be connected securely using the Turn-A-Links to form nearly 50-foot roadways or work platforms, though load-bearing capacity depends on ground conditions. Sizing is subject to a manufacturing variance of ±5%. The package offers easy transportation and storage with the included metal rack, and the product comes with warranty coverage terms as specified by the manufacturer.
