Alturnamat® Mat-Paks are an economical package including 12 mats measuring either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8', along with 20 single turn-a-links, 2 handi-hooks, 1 metal storage skid rack, and 2 ratchet straps. Designed for creating nearly 50-foot roadways or working platforms for vehicles and personnel, these mats are a multi-functional ground protection solution developed for applications requiring a durable walking or standing surface with high load capacity for construction equipment. Each mat is made from 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), featuring an aggressive diamond plate tread design on both sides for enhanced traction and durability. The mats can withstand loads up to 120 tons depending on ground conditions and are flexible to conform to undulating or sloping terrain, making them suitable for construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and event industries. Weighing 86 lbs (39 kg) for the largest size and 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg) for the smallest, they include strategically positioned hand holes for ease of deployment and maneuverability without special equipment. The turn-a-links connectors allow secure interconnection to form stable trackways or work pads. Dimensional sizing is subject to a manufacturing variance of ± 5%.
