Alturnamat® Mat-Paks are a convenient and economical package including 12 mats of either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8' size, 20 single Turn-A-Links, 2 Handi-Hooks, 1 metal storage rack, and 2 ratchet straps. These mats are designed for creating roadway access nearly 50 feet long or working platforms for vehicles and personnel. Constructed from 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Alturnamat® mats are virtually indestructible with an aggressive diamond plate tread design and high load capacity, capable of supporting loads up to 120 tons. Their flexible construction allows them to follow ground contours effectively, making them suitable for soft or sensitive ground in construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and event industries. Weighing 86 lbs (39 kg) for the largest size and 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg) for the smallest, these mats feature strategically positioned hand holes for easy handling without special equipment. The mats can be linked together securely with Turn-A-Links to form trackways or work pads, noting that load bearing capacity depends on ground conditions. Sizing tolerances are ± 5%, and the mats include a warranty as stated by the manufacturer.
