Alturnamat® mat-paks are an economical package including 12 mats available in sizes of 4' x 8' or 3' x 8', supplemented with 20 single Turn-A-Links connectors, 2 Handi-Hooks, a metal storage skid rack, and 2 ratchet straps for convenient transport and storage. These mats are constructed from 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), making them virtually indestructible with an aggressive diamond plate tread design and capable of withstanding loads up to 120 tons. Alturnamat® mats are designed to flexibly contour to uneven or sloping ground surfaces, providing a sturdy working platform or trackway suitable for construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and event applications over soft or sensitive ground conditions. Weight varies by size, with the largest mats weighing 86 lbs (39 kg) and the smallest 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg), and they include strategically positioned hand holes for easy handling without special equipment. The mats connect securely with Turn-A-Links connectors to form continuous pathways or platforms. Load-bearing capacity depends on ground conditions, and sizing may vary by ±5%.
