Alturnamat® is a high load capacity mat featuring an aggressive diamond plate tread design on both sides, made from 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that is 100% recycled and virtually indestructible. It can withstand loads of up to 120 tons and is designed to flexibly follow ground contours, making it suitable for use over soft or sensitive ground in construction, civil engineering, groundwork, and events industries. The mats weigh 86 lbs (39 kg) at maximum size and 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg) at the smallest size, allowing easy deployment and handling without special equipment, with optional strategically positioned hand holes for added convenience. The HDPE mat sections can be connected using Turn-A-Links connectors to create secure trackways or work pads. The load bearing capacity depends on ground conditions, and sizing may have a manufacturing variance of ± 5%. The Alturnamat® Mat-Pak includes a package of 12 mats measuring either 4' x 8' or 3' x 8', 20 single Turn-A-Links, 2 Handi-Hooks, 1 metal storage rack, and 2 ratchet straps, providing an economical solution for creating up to a 50-foot roadway or a working platform for vehicles and personnel.
