3M™ double coated tape GPT-020 is a 200 micron (8 mil) versatile, double-coated, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape featuring a clear polyester carrier and a white PCK liner with a red 3M™ logo. Its conformable film bonds effectively to a variety of high to low surface energy materials such as stainless steel, acrylic, polycarbonate, and aluminum. The high tack adhesive is formulated for high-temperature applications, capable of withstanding up to 149 °C (300 °F) in short-term operations and up to 93 °C (200 °F) for long-term use. This tape is suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications across industries including automotive, electronics, transportation, and manufacturing. The product is available in standard roll formats ranging from 9 mm to 1540 mm in width and 50 m in length, with an option for a 1540 mm wide by 500 m long roll. The manufacturing process employs a proprietary solvent-free adhesive coating that substantially reduces CO2 emissions compared to solvent-based processes.
