The Merit Chrome Plated Brass Schedule 40 Nipple measures 1/4 x 2 NPT male and is produced from seamless red brass pipe, alloy 230. This chrome plated brass nipple features superior machinability, reduced brittleness, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, as it will not dezincify.
