The Merit Chrome Plated Brass Schedule 40 Nipple is a 3/8 x close NPT male fitting produced from seamless Red Brass pipe, specifically alloy 230. This chrome plated brass nipple is engineered for superior machinability, reduced brittleness, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, preventing dezincification.
