The Merit chrome plated brass schedule 40 nipple measures 3/4 x 7 NPT male and is produced from seamless red brass pipe, specifically alloy 230. These chrome plated red brass nipples are easier to machine and less brittle than yellow brass, offering superior resistance to corrosion, including dezincification.
