The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 2" x 1-1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. This red brass fitting can be utilized in low-pressure applications for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), featuring pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. It complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fitting offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, this fitting is also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
