The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 2" x 2" x 3/4" reducing tee with NPT female connections. Red brass fittings are suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.) with pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. These fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, offering superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. The material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. While primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also applicable in oil, gas, and steam scenarios.
