The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 3/4" x 3/8" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. This red brass fitting is designed for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It has a pressure rating of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. and complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass and possess a relative softness that facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily employed for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, while also being suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
