The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 1" x 1" x 1/2" reducing tee with NPT female connections, made from red brass suitable for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). This fitting has a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and it complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. It offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass and features a relatively soft material that facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water, these brass fittings are also appropriate for oil, gas, and steam applications.
