The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting 3/8" coupling NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These red brass fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., conforming to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and their material softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, they are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam uses.
