The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting features a 1-1/2" cross NPT female configuration. These red brass fittings are suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. They comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, providing superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. Additionally, the relative softness of the material facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. While primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also applicable for oil, gas, and steam.
