The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 1-1/2" x 1" hex bushing with NPT male x female connections. Made of red brass, these fittings are suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). They have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for water, oil, and gas, complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
