The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 1-1/2" x 1" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. These red brass fittings can be used in low-pressure applications for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. The fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, offering superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. The material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily utilized in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
