The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 1-1/2" x 1/2" hex bushing with NPT male x female connections, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The red brass fitting has pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., conforming to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. It offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its relatively soft material allows for easy installation and a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, while also being suitable for oil, gas, and steam systems.
