The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 2-1/2" square head solid plug NPT female designed for low pressure applications with water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). This product features pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The red brass construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, while its relative softness facilitates easy installation and creates a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily utilized in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, as well as in oil, gas, and steam applications.
