Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting 3/8" union NPT female red brass fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. These fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards and provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. Their relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, they are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
