The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 3/8" x 1/4" reducing coupling with NPT female ends. Constructed from red brass, these fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), featuring pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. The fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards and offer superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. The material's softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily utilized for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, as well as in oil, gas, and steam applications.
