The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 2-1/2" x 1" hex bushing featuring NPT male and female connections. This red brass fitting is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. It complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, ensuring quality and performance. The fitting exhibits superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Although primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, it is also suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications. The product is covered by a standard warranty.
