The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 1-1/2" x 3/4" reducing coupling with NPT female ends. This fitting is made from red brass, which can be utilized in low-pressure applications for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.) with pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. It meets ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards and offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. The material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications but are versatile enough for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
