The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting features a 4" square head solid plug with NPT female connections, designed for use in low pressure applications for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They offer superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications but are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
