The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting 4" x 3" reducing coupling NPT female is made of red brass, suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It has a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., meeting ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fitting offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, with the material's relative softness allowing for easy installation and a tight seal. Primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water, this brass fitting is also compatible with oil, gas, and steam applications.
