The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 3" x 1-1/2" hex bushing with NPT male x female connections. It is made of red brass and designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fitting has a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for water, oil, and gas. It complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. This fitting offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its material softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. It is primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water, as well as in oil, gas, and steam systems.
