The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 3" x 2" hex bushing with NPT male x female connections, made from red brass suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material’s relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications but are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam uses.
