The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting measures 1-1/4" x 1/2" and features a hex bushing with NPT male x female connections. Made from red brass, these fittings are suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). They are rated for 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications but are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
