The Merit Brass 125 lb lead free fitting is a 1/2" x 1/8" reducing coupling with NPT female threads. Made from red brass, these fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.) and have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. The fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the relative softness of the material allows for easy installation and a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM water applications but are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam systems.
